CIS announces TPS Re-registration for El Salvador

On August 20, 2007, USCIS issued a USCIS notice extending the temporary protected status (TPS) designation of El Salvador for 18 months until 3/9/09. The current expiration date is 9/9/07. The notice also sets for re-registration and EAD extension application procedures. The 60 day re-registration period begins 8/21/07 and ends 10/22/07. The validity of EADs for Salvadoran TPS beneficiaries has been automatically extended for six months until 3/9/08.
